26 Students Inducted into NJHS                               
The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is a middle school
organization made up of eighth graders who have maintained a 95
average or above in the core subjects (English, Math, Science, and
History) throughout middle school.  

The goals of the NJHS are to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to
stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, to develop
character, and to encourage citizenship.  

The members of the NJHS this year include: Emily Berry, Ashley
Bloom, John Broyles (Treasurer), Grant Bruer, Pete Cates (VP), Holly
Chastain, Amy Cross, Andrew Crouch, Jennie Cunic, Mackenzie
Davenport, Jacquie Downey, Andersen Estes, Heather Grubbs, Kaycee
Heitzman, William Linton (Chaplain), Emily Liske, Maddie Luchsinger,
Kaylee McClanahan (Chaplain), Caroline Murchison (President), Chris
Patti, Minta Ray, Hannah Schoutko, Katie Storie, Aaron Waldrupe, Abigail
Wood (Secretary), and Brandon Zortman.

Projects completed this year include making and selling baked goods
and leading a donation drive for Christmas gifts for our custodians.
