My husband found CAK online and asked me to take a look at the website. The mission of the school, statement of faith, and school offerings were everything I had envisioned in a school for my kids. After visiting, I knew this is where God was leading us. We sold our house and moved to Tennessee, just in time for the boys to start football practice.
Moving to Knoxville
Welcome to Knoxville! From hiking the mountains to the college-town atmosphere, there is no lack of things to do in our southern city. Surrounded by seven lakes (Cherokee, Douglas, Fort Loudoun, Melton Hill, Norris, Watts Barr, Tellico) and three national parks (Great Smoky Mountains, Big South Fork, Cherokee National Forrest), the Greater Knoxville area is home to just over 1 million people.
Christian Academy of Knoxville is located in West Knox County, putting our school in a convenient location whether you want to live in the foothills of the mountains or in the "secret city" of Oak Ridge. Our students represent over 140 area churches and multiple denominations.
With any relocation, there are many moving parts as families transition their lives somewhere new, often on short notice. Our hope is to make one decision easier - finding a school community that excites, encourages, and fully welcomes you to life in East Tennessee.
