Homeschool to CAK

If you're considering moving from homeschooling to day schooling, Christian Academy of Knoxville is here to help every step of the way! Our mission is to partner with Christian families to provide a comprehensive college preparatory education from a biblical worldview in a Christ-centered environment. We take the partnership part, and all of our mission, seriously.

Benefits:
  • As a smaller school, your child won't be "just another number." The average class size is only 18 students, and that allows our teachers to get to know your child as an individual
  • Being a covenant school, your child will be surrounded by faculty, staff, and peers who share the same values
  • The opportunities abound from 59 college-credits available (AP or DE) to athletics to music and art

Frequently Asked Questions
  • Will my student fit in?
    • Each year, CAK brings in approximately 130 new students, many of them former homeschooling students. Your student won't be alone and should be able to find someone with a similar background before long.
  • Do you have ways for parents to connect to the community?
    • Yes! CAK offers a Warrior Parent Association, Warrior Athletic Club, Arts Council, CAK Moms Bible Study, and Pray CAK. There are many ways for your entire family to plug in.
  • My child works ahead of grade level in some areas and is on grade level in others. How do I navigate this?
    • CAK's admissions team can help! Students take an entrance exam prior to starting school, and we can also set up a time for you to meet with the principal in your child's building. CAK offers both advanced courses as well as academic support when needed.
We are so blessed to have found CAK! The partnership part of their mission is something they take seriously. As a former homeschooling family, we found the community feel and Christian environment made the transition much easier.
