We did it again! CAK is thrilled to announce that we’ve been named Best of the Best Christian School by Cityview Magazine—for the7th year in a row!
But that’s not all: Our Elementary School earned 1st place for Best Private Elementary School. Our Middle School took 1st place for Best Private Middle School. Our High School brought home the silver, finishing 2nd for Best Private High School.
These awards are a testament to the dedication of our teachers, students, and families—and to God’s faithfulness through it all. Thank you to everyone who voted and continues to support CAK as we strive to raise servants, scholars, and disciples who impact the world for Christ.
We are grateful to serve East Tennessee and look forward to what God has in store for the years ahead!
The Warrior Parent Association invites all CAK families to a special Family Night of Worship on November 12th at 6 pm in the brand-new Christian Life Center! Let’s come together as a school community for a night of worship and prayer for our school, families, community, and nation.
We’d love to see as many families there as possible! Bring everyone, and let’s fill this beautiful space with joy and praise. See you there!
Congratulations to Charlie Walker for winning the “Well Done, Warrior” award. Charlie was nominated by two of his teachers for his initiative and leadership in the 5th grade. Students were assigned John 1:1-5 to memorize for their weekly Bible verse, but Charlie decided to learn the first 14 verses in the chapter! After seeing him learn those verses, many 5th graders followed suit and memorized the first 14 verses as well.
STEM teacher Kelly Sessoms said, “I've witnessed him actively participate in group tasks, often helping to solve problems and making sure everyone feels included. His love for Christ and others shines brightly, and I couldn’t be prouder of him.”
His respectful attitude and kindness toward his peers set a strong example. 5th grade teacher Sarah Coleman said, “Charlie is an amazing leader in the fifth grade.”
For all these reasons—his servant’s heart, his dedication to learning, and his ability to lead by example—Charlie is being honored with the "Well Done, Warrior" award. It’s a recognition of how he lives out his faith and lets his light shine!
As Olivia Bullock steps into her new role as Fine Arts Department Chair at Christian Academy of Knoxville, her passion for the arts and commitment to her students are evident. Since coming to CAK, she has put her heart into her work, encouraging students to embrace their gifts.
Her vision as department chair is clear: "I aim to cultivate an arts program where students not only develop their talents but also use their gifts to honor God."
Olivia is eager to work with her fellow teachers to create an environment where students and faculty feel encouraged and supported. "My goal is to partner with each of my amazing colleagues to build a dynamic, supportive community where every student is empowered to explore their artistic potential and express their faith through creativity," she explains.

Watching our students light up with excitement as they danced and sang alongside the talented choir members was wonderful. We are so thankful for the visit from the SOZO Children's Choir! We are incredibly proud of Cole & Cooper Speck for their outstanding work on their senior capstone project, The Warrior Film Fest! The project had two objectives: First, to provide an opportunity for students in the arts to compete and showcase their creativity. Second, to encourage people with little or no experience in filmmaking to give it a shot without worrying about their skill level.
Cole & Cooper organized an event where participants were invited to submit a three-minute short film of any genre. The films were evaluated based on criteria such as Best Sound Design, Best Cinematography, Best Screenplay, Most Creative, The Audience Choice Award, and Best Motion Picture. The winner of Best Motion Picture received a cash prize of $250. The event was held at Central Cinemas Knoxville.
Well done, Warriors! #CAKHighSchool #WarriorNetwork
